Welcome to the website of Assam Society of America (Asom Sangha). Assam Society of America is the largest and oldest Assamese organization located outside of India. Founded in 1973, the society has grown from it’s humble beginnings to become the leading cultural and community service society outside of Assam representing the people from the north-east of India. We are proud that it is with the dedicated contributions from people such as yourself that the society has reached this esteemed position.
